Apprenticeships

Get an Apprentice ...

An apprenticeship is a way for young people and adults to earn while they learn in the workplace, gaining a relevant and recognised qualification. Apprenticeships are available at Level 2 or Level 3 and can be progressed to a Higher Apprenticeship at Level 4, or go on to study for part-time degree level qualifications such as HNCs, HNDs and Foundation Degrees. Hiring apprentices will help your business to grow talent by developing a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce. The apprenticeship is structured to build the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for your workforce. It involves 20% off-the-job training and skills building in the workplace. Apprenticeships are available to businesses of all sizes and sectors in England, and can last from between 12 months to 4 years. As an employer, you may be able to take advantage of the Apprenticeship Levy to help support with the costs of an apprenticeship scheme.
