This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile senior team, critical to how Stansted is managed. Reporting to the Head of Terminal Operations, the role will act as;

  • On the day senior coordination for the airport as part of a 24/7 team
  • Support the delivery of business-critical projects, including the Airport Hub Centre concept
  • Help develop and embed the Airport Resilience Programme
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

The Role

The ADM team currently supports the following business critical areas;

  • Engagement & All Ideas Matter (AIM)
  • Customer Asset Standards
  • Cross Airport Collaboration
  • Fire & Health and Safety
  • Business Continuity and Customer Journey


ADMs work closely with all functional leads. They are the senior point of escalation for complaint management and are required to be threat assessor trained (training will be provided).

The ADM also drives key decisions such as;

  • Coordination of in the moment operational issues
  • Resolution of issues presented via escalation process
  • Production of business cases to inform operational direction and budgets
  • Management of people issue decisions - Employee Relations, appeals etc



The ideal candidate will ideally have a good understanding of a large scale technical operational business and a proven ability to build and maintain positive relations with a diverse range of partners. They will also have strong project skills, a commitment to continuous improvement and consistently deliver excellent customer service. Comprehensive knowledge and experience of people management, alongside experience of working in a regulated environment and commercial/financial experience are advantageous for this role.
