We are looking for new team members to join our Passenger Services Team.

With over 23 miles of airport road network used by the majority of airport passengers, staff and businesses, our Passenger Service Team Operatives are responsible for ensuring this area has free flowing traffic at all times, conducting regular patrols of the landside facilities and carrying out traffic management when required. 

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, versatile and has excellent customer service skills. This will be a varied role in a fast-paced environment and due to the nature of the role it is important that you are a team player, confident in dealing with ever changing demands and have strong decision-making skills.

Duties will include:

  • Responsibility for the management of trolley movements
  • Regular patrols of landside facilities & the road network
  • Traffic management during road traffic incidents / security barrier failures
  • Management during operational incidents and contingencies including Forecourt car park coach diversion
  • Operational response for the evacuation of the Coach Station and Car Rental Village in conjunction with coach operators, Car Parks Team and Car Rental operators
  • 24/7 liaison with our Car Parks Team and surface access providers to ensure the operation runs smoothly
  • To monitor & report on any litter issues on the roads, car parks & forecourt liaising with the cleaning contractors as appropriate.
  • Maintain effective communication with teams across the operation to ensure business continuity

 

Skills Required:

  • Must of hold a full UK driving licence
  • Effective communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Airport processes and procedures
  • Ability to multi-task between several priorities at any one time

Salary - £22,378.68 plus 17.5% shift allowance
