Job Description

    • Cleaning Team Leader – Stansted
    • Permanent Role – 4 on 4 off – 2 days 2 nights
    • Experience of managing a large operational team and technical knowledge of cleaning services required
    • Salary 27,378.26 + 17.5% shift

    Guest experience should be at the heart of the Cleaning Team Leader with the constant strive to enhance the appearance standards of Stansted Airport.  We welcome applications from candidates who have previous experience in managing a large operational team, who lead by example, have a pro-active attitude and can motivate their team to drive a strong health and safety culture across the Cleaning Excellence Division.


    What does the role of a Cleaning Team Leader involve?


    • Responsible for operational delivery of cleaning excellence standards across their zone
    • First line of response for any cleaning issues
    • Allocation of Cleaning Team in their zone to ensure maximum output and a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Oversee performance auditing, monitoring and reporting
    • Ensure Co-ordination and planning activities are undertaken and reviewed to maximise delivery options and compliance
    • Ensure O&M’s and Asset information is correct and up to date at all times
    • To lead operational discussions and solution implementation
    • Promote and drive an innovative approach to achieving objectives, making best use of the latest industry techniques with a view to realising best practice
    • Manage any necessary remedial action when services do not meet the required standard
    • Be accountable to key stakeholders in the business
    • Responsible for the health and safety of the zonal area from a cleaning excellence perspective to spillages are managed effectively and within the agreed SLA




    We are seeking self-motivated candidates with a can-do attitude and clear communication skills. You will be able to think on your feet and solve daily issues at ease.


    You will have excellent technical knowledge of cleaning services and experience of managing a large operational team in a high footfall operation. You will have a clear vision of success and will be able to motivate others to achieve this.


    You will also have a Health and Safety qualification knowledge including cleaning best practice and COSHH.
