JOB DESCRIPTION – Hospitality & Operations Co-ordinator

LOCATION: Stansted, Diamond Hangar.

Here at On Air Dining, we continue to lead the field and need to expand our team. As a Hospitatlity & Operations Co-ordinator, you'll use your people skills to communicate with Flight Attendants and Chefs to ensure our process of catering for Private aircraft is flawless.

You'll source items from London and beyond, instructing our logistics team to pick up anything from Caviar to French Patisserie, Balik Salmon to the slightly more weird and wonderful, no request is too big for us.

Working as a shift team, reporting to the Inflight Duty Manger, the role of the Hospitality & Operations Co-ordinator is to take full responsibility for all aspects of taking, processing and on occasion delivering our products and services to our customers. Using the resources and team available to you, you will work to ensure that the orders placed by our customers are fulfilled to the specification that has been requested.

Job Accountabilities

General responsibilities and accountabilities include, but not limited to:

  • Taking orders from customers via email and phone, processing through liaison with kitchen staff and coordinating the delivery of food and concierge to the specific requirements stated by our customers
  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email and occasionally face to face
  • Providing help and advice to customers in regards to order queries
  • Apply departmental upsell process to ensure every order profit opportunity has been realized
  • Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers; this includes follow up phone calls after every order, recording all feedback and maintaining client preference records within the Aerochef system
  • Manage and handle invoicing to ensure collections of funds is undertaken in a timely manner by the team.
  • Assist the Inflight Manager with Customer Service tasks as and when required

Please note this role is shift work and requires shifts every other weekend. Full training will be given to be part of a successful and engaging team.

Shifts:

Early shifts of 0600 - 1800 and late shifts 1200 - 0000. Every other weekend off, 7 out of 14 days worked.

You do need a drivers licence as on occasion you will be required to go on deliveries.
