Job Description


Storm Aviation is a leading International Line Maintenance Provider, operating a 24-hour comprehensive support for Commercial Aircraft Operators.

Our engineers are committed to providing fully customised services in Line Maintenance and AOG support across Europe, Asia and Africa. As a truly independent MRO we are able to adapt our approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements, whilst also carrying out our work to the highest standards.

We have been keeping aircraft safe for 20 years, and we continue to deliver high standard quality services to our customers, which include but are not limited to Emirates, Qatar, Lufthansa, Swiss International Airlines and easyJet.

The Role:

Work with our engineering teams and develop your skills helping with the maintenance of aircraft

Be involved in routine aircraft servicing and help with any minor repairs or modifications

Learn about the importance of health, safety and security in everything our engineering teams do

Develop your engineering skills and knowledge through a combination of on – the – job training as well as learning through the college and coursework

Gain formal qualifications that will set you up for a successful career as an aircraft mechanic or engineer.


Qualifications you will gain:

Year 1

  • Foundation qualification Level 2 Diploma in Aerospace and Aviation Engineering, City and Guilds 4605-2 (based at college).

Year 2 & 3

  • Completion of your Advanced Apprenticeship (level 3) as Aircraft Maintenance Fitter/Technician; Completing an NVQ level 3 Extended Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering & Level 3 On Aircraft Maintenance A License Course.

Must hold or be predicted to obtain required grades before the apprenticeship start date;

– GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C) or Equivalent in Maths, English and Physics
