Apprentice Aircraft Mechanics
The Three-Year Apprentice Aircraft Mechanic Programme provides you with the required theoretical and practical training and experience to become a Licensed CAT A Mechanic.
The programme combines a range of theoretical and practical elements which will develop your skills to start a successful career in Aircraft Engineering.
During the first Year, you will be based at Stansted Airport College where you will complete the theoretical elements to achieve your EASA Category A Licence Modules.
In the second and third years, you will be based at Stansted Airport, working for Ryanair, in a Line and Hangar environment, shadowing Engineers and working on live aircraft. After the second phase is competed, you will complete your end point assessment in order to be in a position to apply for your Category A License, you will need to be a minimum of 21 years old to apply to the CAA for your basic CAT A licence.
On completion of the program we would encourage and support suitable students to further their studied to achieve a full B1 / B2 Licence enabling us, as an Airline, to provide full type training on the 737NG, Max and Learjet 45.
