We at Blue Handling have an exciting opportunity available for a number of Customer Service Agents to join our team at Stansted Airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring the Ryanair Operational Priorities, Safety, Service and Simplicity are delivered consistently.
  • Reporting to the Blue Handling Assistant Passenger Service Manager, ensuring punctual embarking activities for departing aircraft.
  • Management of the customer journey from check-in to gate process, to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and departure performance.
  • Deliver EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE and facilitate a seamless delivery of the 'Always getting Better’ programme.
  • Work in partnership with all required stakeholders and support when required.
  • Flexible and dynamic at all times. As required, can be deployed to support other functions and teams and encourage ‘teamwork’ across all areas.
  • Working pro-actively to overcoming any obstacles or challenge.
  • Full compliance with regulatory safety and security processes
  • Identify ancillary revenue opportunities and process payments.
  • Conduct conversations sensitively with customers who have been disrupted.
  • Responsible for de-controlling and initiation of service recovery – sympathetic to customer situations/needs/reasons etc.
  • Comfortable in IT systems as required, full training will be provided.
  • Are happy to work a 4 on, 2 off shift pattern.

Required Experience for the Customer Service Agent role:

  • Previous experience of working within Customer Services, ideally in a customer facing role
  • A good working knowledge of various check-in systems is desirable
  • The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills

Essential Criteria for an Airside Pass

To be considered for the role you will need to provide the following:

  • Full 5 years history that accounts for all periods of employment, self-employment, unemployment and education (any gaps over 28 days must be verified)
  • Valid photographic proof of identity e.g. Passport, National ID Card etc.
  • Valid Visa/Proof of right to work for non UK and out of EU nationals
  • Proof of National Insurance Number
  • Proof of address (Utility bill, bank statement, etc.)
  • Acceptance of and willingness to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service check (DBS)/Criminal Record Check (CRC)* and Airside Security Clearance
  • Where an individual has resided for 6 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, the appropriate clearance must be obtained i.e. Overseas Criminal Record Check (OCRC) from the country of origin
