­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Crewing Controller

Stansted based Titan Airways is looking to recruit a dynamic, proactive and considerate Crewing Controller.  Working within the greater Operations team, the Crewing Controllers work around the clock on a 12-hour day and night shifts pattern.  The Crewing Controllers are responsible to manage the airline’s crew resources and to balance the commercial demands of a flexible and fast paced airline operation as well as giving our Crew a good work/life balance.

 

The candidate should have good organisational skills, be a great communicator and able to work unaided as well as part of a close-knit team.

 

Reporting to the Crewing Supervisor, the Crewing Controllers are responsible for: -

 

  • Maintaining Crew rosters to meet the company’s flying commitments, as well as maintaining standby cover to match aircraft availability.
  • Ensuring all Crew are “legal” in accordance with the company flight time limitations scheme.
  • Management of transport and hotel accommodation requirements.
  • Recording and monitoring aircrew duty records within the company Operations system to ensure compliance with the company flight time limitations scheme.
  • Assisting the Operations and Pre-Ops teams in the crewing of flights both planned and last minute.

Experience / Profile

  • A dynamic, self motivated individual who can keep a calm head and manage a fast paced operation.
  • Excellent communicator, who can engage with individuals from all levels within the business and other external parties.
  • A problem solver, who relishes a challenge and tackles it head on and is able to capitalise on commercial opportunities.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced operational environment is preferable.
  • Computer literate, able to pick up new systems quickly.  Previous systems experience is preferable.
  • A knowledge of FTL / EASA and operational procedures is desirable.
  • Right to live and work in the EU.

On the job training will be given on all operational, management and crewing specific software as well as familiarisation with all other aspects of the operation.
