Job Description

  • B1/B2 Licenced Fleet Support Engineer

    Responsible to: Maintenance Manager/Technical & Nightshift Controller on a day to day basis

    The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:

    • Completion of the tasks allocated to them on a shift by shift basis by the Station Engineer or Shift Supervisor, or carried out as part of their routine duties, in accordance with company procedures;

    • Certification of the work carried out by themselves under the terms of, and within the limitations set by, the personal company authorisation issued to them;

    • Assuming the duties and responsibilities of Shift Supervisor when this position is allocated to them;

    • Supervision duties in respect of the mechanics, handlers, Interiors Technicians and aircraft cleaners as allocated by the shift supervisor;

    • Ensuring that they are familiar with the MOE procedures and work instructions that affect their duties;

    • Performing engineering duties ‘Away from Base’ or at outstations as detailed by the Maintenance Manager or Station Engineer, including acting in, and representing the Company in a manner acceptable to the Company;

    • Performing the duties of a company representative during aircraft base maintenance inputs;

    • Operate as a flying engineer on flights that require such a function with the ability to depart with the aircraft at short notice;

    • Ensuring that the cleanliness and interior trim of the aircraft are maintained to company standard;

    • Ensuring that the engineering facility, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable and aircraft are positioned in the hangar or on the Titan designated parking area wherever possible;

    • Shift work including nights.


    • Current Full B1 and / or B2 Licence with at least 2 type ratings (A320/A330 family, B737 or B757)
    • At least 5 years proven aircraft line maintenance experience
    • Full, current and unrestricted driving licence
    • The ability to reside, work and travel freely in the EU
    • Be able to provide information for five year employment/education references and Criminal Records Check (for UK and Overseas if applicable)
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening
